Anderson Silva vs Jake Paul targeted for October

According to multiple reports, a boxing match between Anderson Silva and Jake Paul has been targeted for October 29th in what will be a massive pay day for both fighters, as well as a fight that will bring the eyes of MMA, Boxing and the YouTube community to what many will consider to be one of the biggest freak shows to date.

This fight had been rumored on multiple occasions but nothing ever came to fruition. Jake had bouts with Tommy Fury and Hasim Rahman Jr fizzle out, while Anderson remained more of a question mark in terms of a return with certain possible retirement being an option.

The former middleweight champion and long time king of MMA, has been tearing the boxing scene since retiring from MMA as he has beaten the likes of Julio Cesar Chaves jr as well as a KO of Tito Ortiz last September. In all his boxing fights he has looked as slick and quick as he did in his prime, while the some criticizes the KO of Ortiz, Anderson came out nearly untouched, but it’s his win over Chavez that gives him the credibility as a boxer.

As for Jake, he is still riding the wave of beating UFC welterweight champion Tyron Woodley twice, especially their last fight which came via highlight reel KO. Since Jake has focused on promoting boxers like Amanda Serrano who just had the biggest female boxing fight ever along side of Katie Taylor. His record stands at 5-0 with 4 stoppages.
