A title win at BRAVE CF 64 could see South Korea’s Tae Kyun Kim ride the K-wave

South Korea’s Tae Kyun Kim has not set a foot wrong since making his professional mixed martial arts debut. He remains unbeaten in nine fights with an impressive resume of wins to boot. A true mixed martial artist in every sense as he has dispatched his opponents in every manner possible with three knockouts, three submissions and three decisions thus far.

Just last year, his performances earned him three nominations, two for BRAVE CF ‘Fight of the Year’ and one for ‘Fighter of the Year’. BRAVE Combat Federation has truly created a platform for Kyun Kim to blossom into a shining example of the MMA explosion taking place in South Korea.

Now, ‘’Ares’’ is on the verge of transcending the corridors of sport as he steps closer to becoming a national icon and a South Korean star. After four fights in the world’s fastest-growing MMA promotion, Kyun Kim is ranked the number-one BRAVE CF Featherweight fighter and will face number-two ranked Roman Bogatov – from Russia – for the vacant Featherweight title at BRAVE CF 64.

Global icons such as South Korean football captain and Tottenham Hotspur superstar Son Heung-min and Olympic gold medalist and figure skater, Yuna Kim have been amazing ambassadors for their nation, connecting their homeland to billions of fans across the world.

There has also been a huge culture explosion in the Republic as tourism today is driven by many factors including South Korean pop music (K-pop) and television dramas – all under the banner of the “Korean Wave”.

And next week, on October 22nd at BRAVE CF 64, Kyun Kim has the opportunity to become the crest of the Korean Wave when he fights for a title in the most-global mixed martial arts promotion, and a win for him could secure his rockstar star and mark his legacy in the annals of South Korean history, just like Son Heung-min and Yuna Kim.
