Cage Fury Fighting Championships alumni are no stranger to the brightened lights of the MMA major leagues. In today’s episode of Across The Pond, you will meet a Viking of polar proportions ready to plunder and pillage the featherweight division in a chilling reign of destruction for 2023. A professional mixed martial artist since February 2018 and representing American Kickboxing Academy, Blake Bilder holds an unbeaten 7-0-1 record comprised of four submissions, one knockout, two decisions and a draw. Bilder earned his contract from the UFC on week six as part of the sixth season of Dana White’s Tuesday Night Contender Series in 2022. He has also fought for several organizations including Cage Fury Fighting Championships and has finished five out of his seven victories during his time in the professional ranks.
In his MMA debut at KOTC Energetic Pursuit, he submitted Matt Gomez in the first round via inverted triangle choke. Bilder defeated Julian Baez via a majority decision at CXF 13 heavy hitters. He defeated Derion Chapman via unanimous decision at Lights Out Xtreme Fighting 2. Bilder tapped out Cain Lugar via armbar in the first round at Caged Aggression 30 triple threat. Then in his promotional debut with Cage Fury Fighting Championships at CFFC 104, he submitted Frank Buenafuente in the second round via triangle choke. Bilder defeated Regivaldo Carvalho via TKO in round three in the main event of CFFC 107 to earn his first knockout win as a professional.
In the opening contest of Dana White’s Tuesday Night Contender Series week six of season six, Bilder submitted Alex Morgan via rear-naked choke in the first round. The victory earned Bilder the fourth submission win of his professional career in addition to a UFC contract. He also extended his undefeated streak to seven to begin his career in the process. Stormclouds are on the horizon when this coastal raider comes ashore!
