Across The Pond Profile: Yuri Panferov of Ultimate MMA

The northeastern region of the United States produces prospects that are forever forged in winter’s numbing grip. In today’s episode of Across The Pond, you will be introduced to an anaconda of artic doom whose ground game has left the opposition in a state of perpetual polarization with little chance of a reprieve as a top bear at light heavyweight. A professional mixed martial artist since April 2021 and representing Ultimate MMA, Yuri Panferov owns an undefeated 6-0 record comprised of five submissions and one knockout. He has finished 100 percent of his victories during his time in the professional ranks and has yet to reach the scorecards at any point over the course of his career as a professional MMA fighter. Panferov has fought for numerous organizations during his time thus far as a professional mixed martial artist including Reality Fighting, Combat Zone and CES MMA. All six of Panferov’s wins during his pro career have come inside the opening round.

In his MMA debut at CES MMA 62, he submitted Gregory Smith via rear-naked choke in round one. Panferov also tapped out Mus’Aib Bayina in the first round via armbar at CES MMA 67. Then at CES MMA 69, he submitted Jarell Nettles via rear-naked choke in round one. Panferov defeated Brian Imes via technical knockout in the first round at CES MMA 71 to earn his first and only knockout win as a professional so far. He tapped out Ron Marshall in the first round via rear-naked choke at Reality Fighting.

At Combat Zone 79, he submitted Davis Oracio jr via kimura in round one. The win earned Panferov the fifth submission victory of his professional career in addition to extending his unbeaten streak to six in a row in the process. Ending up on the receiving end of the ground exchanges with Panferov could leave you wandering out in the cold at the point of no return!
