Across The Pond Profile: Cage Warriors fighter Kate Bacik

The return of female fighters to Cage Warriors has proven to be a welcome addition to the promotion’s overall standing within European circles with stars like Jasmine Favero at the forefront of the comeback since women’s MMA returned to the organization at Cage Warriors 142 in August of last year. In today’s episode of Across The Pond, you will meet a hornet of stinging smoke ready to bring Women’s MMA full circle for the organization. A professional mixed martial artist since August 2022 and representing GB Top Team under head coach Brad Pickett, Kate Bacik owns a 1-1 record with her lone victory as a professional MMA fighter coming via submission. She is 1-0 under the Cage Warriors banner, with a single finish under her belt for the promotion with a time of four minutes and 38 seconds. Bacik has also fought for Hexagone MMA. She has one finish under her belt in two appearances during her time in the professional ranks so far. Bacik has a finishing rate of 100 percent. She is one of numerous female fighters that have participated in Cage Warriors in recent memory alongside Dana White’s Tuesday Night Contender Series season three alumni Micol DiSegni and Stephanie Page Evans in addition to former Flyweight title challenger Byrony Tyrell.

In her promotional debut with Cage Warriors on the main card of Cage Warriors 150, she faced Awa Sow of France and went on to tap her out in the first round via rear-naked choke at four minutes and 38 seconds. The victory earned Bacik the first and only submission win of her professional career so far. She also picked up win number one under the Cage Warriors banner in the process. Bacik is a prospect that may possess a peaceful demeanor outside of the cage doors, but she enters attack mode once she steps inside!
