Many people have talked about it for a while, but we are bringing you a promotion that is actually accomplishing it. The second fight in the United Fight League (UFL) is scheduled for this Saturday, May 13, in Memphis, Tennessee. An event where the fighters who have signed on will enter the cage seeking victory but will all leave it (win or lose) with advantages that will aid them during and after their MMA careers are over.
In an effort to reimagine combat sports by putting athletes and their futures first, United Fight League founder and seasoned businessman Harrison Rogers has teamed up with some of the biggest names in MMA, including former Heavyweight World Champion Frank Mir and former Light Heavyweight World Champion Quinton “Rampage” Jackson.
The following UFL event will take place on May 13 at the Memphis Sports and Events Centre (MSEC) and will maintain the UFL Grand Prix format with quarterfinal fights in the men’s Bantamweight, Featherweight, Welterweight, and Middleweight brackets as well as the women’s Bantamweight bracket on a night of fights that will feature top talent from all over the world, including the United States, Brazil, Great Britain, Ireland, Slovakia, Cuba, Wales, and other countries.
The UFL is also prioritising its audience by streaming all of its events, including UFL 2 LIVE & FREE on RUMBLE.
UFL 2 will be broadcast LIVE on May 13th at 1 pm PST and 4 pm EST.
Hopefully, this format and structure of the organisation can withstand the market of the MMA world, because God knows that healthcare is so important.
