Lorenzo Hunt is “it” guy in BKFC, the current double champion is on an eight-fight win streak. Winning main events and capturing two titles it looks like Hunt is the greatest in the land. Lorenzo is the toughest guy in the most dangerous sport in the world, he’s a bad man and he’s not stopping. When you’re on top everyone wants to take you down and that’s the level “The Juggernaut” is on now. He’s proven he’s the best, now it’s time to show that he’s the greatest. His next opponent has been named, Chris Camozzi.
Chris Camozzi is a guy that lives to fight. He says that he would have ended up in jail if it wasn’t for combat sports. Camozzi a UFC veteran finished his career off in the PFL with two wins. He decided to try something different and signed with the BKFC. His first fight was very impressive beating Bubba McDaniel in only 37 seconds. Camozzi finished McDaniel with ease and wasn’t really tested. In his next fight, he slaughtered Dan Spohn. That was all it took, ranked at #4 in the cruiserweight division Camozzi got his wish, a chance at the BKFC title.
The big difference in this fight is their experience. Lorenzo Hunt is brutal and has proven himself worthy of being called great. Camozzi is trying to take that from Hunt. He’s got great hands but if he’s tested will he pass the test in bare-knuckle? That’s the main question going into this fight, how much heart and will does Camozzi have? Hunt is going to try and find out.
If Camozzi is as good as he has looked he should be able to put away Hunt in a few simple strikes. The thing is he’s now taking on the best of the BKFC. Lorenzo Hunt in his last fight versus Mike “The Marine” Richmond really showcased his will. In a fight where he was down, Hunt got back up with a vendetta to win.
Once on his feat Hunt delivered an incredible bomb leveling Richmond and really breaking him physically. Richmond will never be the same, Hunt destroyed him. If Hunt gets his way he should be able to hurt Camozzi badly,
This is going to be a great war if Camozzi can hang with Hunt. If not it might be a short night for Chris who may be questioning why he signed with the Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship.
Regardless Lorenzo Hunt vs Chris Camozzi is going to be a main event worth watching. At this point, any fight Hunt is a part of is going to be exciting.
