Conor McGregor is one of the biggest stars and biggest pulls in MMA history

Conor McGregor is one of the biggest stars and biggest pulls in MMA history.

Why is Conor McGregor such a big draw?

The question that some people outside the MMA scene might find themselves asking themselves is, why is Conor Mcgregor such a big star?

It’s his ability to make people interested in whatever he’s doing whether that’s an impossible-to-win boxing bout against Floyd Mayweather or selling proper No.12 Irish whiskey. He’s a polarising figure, someone you either love or hate you would tune into his fights to see if he loses or wins.

It’s not only Conor’s ability on a mic which makes him such a star, it’s his ability to back up those words with his work inside the octagon. His first world title bout about Jose Aldo the polarising figure said “I saw his right hand twitching in the face-offs, at that moment I knew that was going to put him in trouble.”

MMA journalist Aaron Bronsteter had this to say about Conor “I was able to interview Conor, probably the biggest star in the sport. He (Conor Mcregrgor) doesn’t give canned answers, that’s why he became such a big star. He’s always being himself, he doesn’t try to be something he isn’t.”

The fall from grace in Conor McGregor’s career has been a hard watch for most mixed martial arts fans to watch from being a young hungry fighter that wanted to get out of the poverty chain in Dublin to having more money than he knows what to do with.

From being a charismatic figure to someone who’s now sloppy with his words and calling out YouTube boxer KSi after the AJ fight.
