Across The Pond Profile: Legacy Fighting Alliance fighter Ivan Tena

A little taste of home cooking often adds extra spice in the state wherever LFA is on any Friday night kickoff in weekend MMA action. In today’s episode of Across The Pond, you will be introduced to the newest sun valley rattler ready to rise up and strike with venomous thunder at featherweight for the promotion. A professional mixed martial artist since June 2019 and representing The MMA Lab, Ivan Tena owns a 6-1 record in seven bouts comprised of three knockouts, two submissions and one decision. Tena fought for Combate Global prior to debuting with Legacy Fighting Alliance at LFA 158 in May 2023. The majority of his victories over the course of his career as a professional MMA fighter have been inside the distance. Tena has gone to the scorecards once during his time in the professional ranks sweeping them clean across the board in that instance. He is 1-0 under the LFA banner. Tena has five finishes under his belt in seven overall appearances during his career as a professional mixed martial artist.

In his MMA debut, he faced Dominic Tim and went on to defeat him via TKO in round one. Tena knocked out Ricardo Canales in the first round at RUF MMA 39. Then, he submitted Timothy Cuamba in the first round via rear-naked choke. Tena knocked out Geraldo Rosa Almonte in the second round to secure his third knockout win as a professional. He tapped out Pablo Burgos via rear-naked choke in round one to earn his second submission win as a professional.

In his promotional debut with Legacy Fighting Alliance on the main card of LFA 158, he defeated Riley Wiseman via unanimous decision. The win earned Tena the first decision victory of his professional career along with his first win under the LFA banner in the process. At 24 years old, Tena’s potent power cocktail is stronger than any sunrise!
