There are additional pressures for undefeated fighters to deal with the longer that their unbeaten streak runs. In today’s episode of Across The Pond, you will meet the latest unbeaten sensation whose diverse methods of victory have the Cage Warriors featherweight division sitting spellbound. A professional mixed martial artist since June 2022 and representing Aurora MMA, Luca Borando owns an undefeated 4-0 record comprised of two knockouts, one submission, and one decision. He is 2-0 under the Cage Warriors banner with two finishes in two appearances with the organization under his belt. The majority of Borando’s wins over the course of his career as a professional MMA fighter have been inside the distance. Borando has finished three out of his four victories overall during his career in the professional MMA ranks. He has gone to the scorecards a single time during his career sweeping them clean across the board in that one and only instance.

In his MMA debut, he faced Matteo Mengozzi and submitted him in round one via armbar to earn his first submission win as a professional. Borando defeated Alessandro Capone via unanimous decision at Lugano in the cage 5 to score his only decision victory as a professional. Then in his promotional debut with Cage Warriors on the preliminary card of Cage Warriors 154, he defeated Baris Adiguzel via technical knockout in the third round. For his second outing with Cage Warriors on the main card of Cage Warriors 163 Borando defeated Wesley Machado via TKO in round two. The win secured Borando the second knockout victory of his professional career. He also picked up back-to back victories under the Cage Warriors banner and extended his unbeaten streak to four to begin his professional career in the process.

At Cage Warriors 170 on April 6, he will face fellow finisher Scott Pedersen in featherweight action. Good luck Luca!
