‘The Dentist’ will take on the experienced Brazilian Carlos Alexandre Pereira in a 195lbs catchweight bout.

Darren Stewart will look to extend his 4-fight unbeaten streak when he takes the on the 52-fight veteran from South America. Stewart, most recently coming off a victory over Antonio Zovak in November, has been undefeated since his return to Cage Warriors following his five-year spell with the UFC, defeating Guilherme Cadena, Leon Aliu and Matt Bonner along the way. The 33-year-old who made his Pro Debut on Cage Warriors back in 2014, has shared the cage with high-level talent during his ten-year career as a professional, picking up several wins under the UFC banner and losing out to Kevin Holland by split decision along the way. “The Dentist” will be looking to use this experience whenever he takes on Carlos Alexandre Pereira this weekend.

Pereira, who enters the cage with a record of 39-12-1, made his professional debut way back in 2002 and has spent the majority of his career fighting on regional shows in Brazil. The 44-year-old has once appeared on Bellator, losing a split decision to Bryan Baker back in early 2012. The Brazilian makes his Cage Warriors debut this weekend but is no stranger to top-tier fighters, having fought UFC Middleweight Michel Pereira just two fights ago, in which the bout bizarrely ended as a no-contest due to a cage malfunction in the first round. After that bout, Carlos took a five-year break, before returning to the cage last November, picking up a first-round stoppage.
