Across The Pond Profile: Ethan Burmingham

Mixed Martial Arts can be the ultimate teacher in terms of learning the professional athletic life in addition to the invaluable life lessons that come with every chapter of their career for however long that it lasts. In today’s episode of Across The Pond,¬†you will be introduced to a red razor of the mountains ready to make opposition quake even at the slightest of opportunities when they come knocking at his doorstep. A professional mixed martial artist since February 2023 and representing¬†Law School MMA, Ethan Burmingham owns an undefeated 3-0 record comprised of two knockouts and one submission. He has fought for several promotions during his professional career including Legacy Fighting Alliance. All of Burmingham’s victories over the course of his career as a professional MMA fighter have come within the opening round in the span of five minutes or fewer with a finish rate of 100 percent to show for it. He has three first-round finishes under his belt through his first three professional appearances. Burmingham has yet to make it past the first round during his career as a professional mixed martial artist thus far.

In his MMA debut at Shotgun Entertainment Fighting Championships 27, he faced Christopher McElroy and went on to defeat him via technical knockout in round one. Burmingham submitted Kalakon Olieng in the first round via rear-naked choke to secure his first and only submission win as a professional. Then in his promotional debut with Legacy Fighting Alliance on the preliminary card of LFA 180, he defeated Justin Thompson via TKO in the first round. The victory earned Burmingham the second knockout win of his professional career along with his first win under the Legacy Fighting Alliance banner. He also picked up victory number three overall inside the professional ranks in the process. At 3-0, Burmingham is dispensing verdicts with a hot hand before the bang of the gavel even renders a final decision!
