Across The Pond Profile: Cage Fury Fighting Championships fighter Emily Martins

Homegrown organizations often act as a bridge between where fighters are and where they are in their career progression at a time in their lives when they ultimately end up going when they get an opportunity that completely changes their lives and flips the career narrative like a house of cards. In today’s episode ofĀ Across The Pond,Ā you will meet a serpent of the dawning daylight ready to constrict the prey in Cage Fury Fighting Championships as she strikes for the bantamweight throne. A professional mixed martial artist since September 2023 and representingĀ American Top Team, Emily MartinsĀ holds a 2-0 record with each of her wins in the professional MMA ranks coming via submission. Martins has spent her whole career as a professional MMA fighter with Cage Fury Fighting Championships and is 2-0 under their banner with two finishes in two appearances under her belt. She has never gone to the scorecards at any point over the course of her career as a professional mixed martial artist and has a 100 percent finish rate to show for it with one first-round finish to go along with a single second-round finish.

In her professional MMA debut and promotional debut with Cage Fury Fighting Championships at CFFC 125, she facedĀ Micaela RampageĀ and went on to submit herĀ in round one via rear-naked choke. Then in her second outing with Cage Fury Fighting Championships on the main card of CFFC 130, Martins submittedĀ Marissa EllisĀ via rear-naked choke in the second round. The victory earned Martins the second submission win of her professional career in addition to her second consecutive win under the CFFC banner. She also picked up back-to-back victories to begin her professional career in the process.

In the co-main event of CFFC 132 on July 14, Martins will take onĀ Auttumn NortonĀ for the bantamweight title. Good luck Emily!
