OKTAGON 59: Summer Party – the European MMA event of the summer – took place last night (July 20) in the open air of Bratislava, Slovakia. The €1 million Tipsport Gamechanger lightweight tournament quarterfinals came to a close as some promotional standouts proved their quality once again.

In the main event, Ronald Paradeiser (20-8) defeated former KSW champion, Daniel Torres (15-6, 2NC), by dominant decision in the European MMA Champions League bracket. ‘Rony’ utilised his reach and height advantage to keep his adversary at range, landing some impactful strikes in front of his home crowd across the full fifteen minutes. Paradeiser now moves on to face Acoidan Duque in the tournament’s final four later this year.

Losene Keita (14-1) delivered his ninth career knockout in the co-headliner by stopping Predrag Bogdanović (16-2) during round two. ‘Black Panther’ defended the majority of the Serbian’s takedown attempts before connecting with a powerful body shot that ended the contest. The 26-year-old progresses to the €1 million Tipsport Gamechanger semifinals where he will meet Mateusz Legierski.
