OKTAGON 62 truly will be BIGGER THAN EVER!

This Saturday night, October 12, history will be made inside Deutsche Bank Park Stadium – home of Eintracht Frankfurt – for one of the most significant MMA events of all time. A record-breaking crowd of 58,000 will pack out our second football stadium show of the year which includes three title fights on a stacked card, the GymBeam halftime show with John Newman and a whole host of other surprises!

In the main event, two national superstars will collide when Christian Eckerlin (16-6, 1NC) throws down with Christian Jungwirth (15-8) to decide who will be awarded ‘The King of Germany’ belt. Eckerlin is at home in Frankfurt and he is adored by the city while Jungwirth will bring thousands of loyal supporters from Stuttgart for this monumental showdown. Both men provide thrilling entertainment whenever they compete but who will end the night sitting on the throne with all the bragging rights?

Patrik Kincl (28-10, 1NC) will defend his middleweight belt in the co-headliner against Kerim Engizek (20-4) who hasn’t been defeated in ten years. ‘The Inspector’ has won all of his fights in OKTAGON MMA but many are speculating that Engizek will be his toughest test to date as evidenced by his scary 85% finishing rate. Can Kincl go into enemy territory and silence 58,000 fans or will Engizek extend his winning streak to fifteen, capturing gold in the process?

The strawweight title will be up for grabs in Deutsche Bank Park when Katharina Dalisda (11-3) looks to retain the strap when she rematches UFC veteran, Mallory Martin (9-6). The pair first met in October 2022 and on that occasion, it was Dalisda who got her hand raised by decision but since then, her adversary has bounced back by winning two straight. Has Martin done enough to close the gap and take the belt back to America or will ‘Tigress’ roar once again?

Frankfurt fan favourite, Max Coga (26-8-1), makes his anticipated OKTAGON MMA debut against former KSW champion, Antun Račić (27-11-1), in a lightweight bout and Bulgarian tank, Lazar Todev (10-6), squares off with Polish knockout artist, Adam Pałasz (9-3), to decide the next in line for the heavyweight title. Undefeated German talent, Max Holzer (8-0), will open the main card opposite promotional newcomer, Mohammed Sadok Trabelsi (12-7), at featherweight.

Elsewhere on the loaded lineup, former Tipsport Gamechanger competitor, Mago Machaev (14-2, 1NC), meets English all-rounder, James Hendin (9-2), in a featherweight contest and former interim champion, Pavol Langer (13-10), faces Irish star, Will Fleury (12-3, 1NC), which is very important for the light heavyweight division. ‘The Namibian Nightmare’, Hafeni Nafuka (9-1), goes against fellow finisher, Arijan Topallaj (7-0-1), in a clash of young prospects from Germany at lightweight.

OKTAGON 62 will be broadcast live on OKTAGON.TV internationally as well as worldwide on the global platform, DAZN, in all markets except from CZ/SK/DE. Fans in Germany can tune in on RTL+ for the very first time and audiences in France can also watch on RMC Sport. The action begins at 4pm BST/5pm CEST/11am ET/8am CT.
