The Land Down Under and women’s MMA are kindred spirits when it comes to providing an equal opportunity to showcase Australian pride in promotions that often get lost in the positional shuffle. In today’s episode of Across The Pond, you will be introduced to the latest boomerang of the bush ready to hurl outback fire at Featherweight for Invicta Fighting Championships. A professional mixed martial artist since March 2022 and representing Ignite Martial Arts Academy, Jamie Edenden owns a 5-2-1 record in seven bouts consisting of four decisions, one knockout and a draw. Edenden has fought for various promotions in her home nation of Australia including Hex Fight Series and Eternal MMA. She is 1-0 under the Invicta Fighting Championships banner. Edenden has spent the majority of career as a professional MMA fighter in her home nation of Australia. She has gone to the scorecards four times over the course of her journey in the professional ranks with the bulk of those wins resulting in unanimous verdicts. Edenden has a single third-round finish under her belt in seven appearances as a professional mixed martial artist.

At Eternal MMA 67, she faced Angelka Momcilovic and defeated her via unanimous decision. Edenden defeated Bellator MMA veteran Janay Harding via unanimous decision in the main event of Beatdown Promotions 5. Then at Superfight MMA 20, she defeated Gase Sanita via unanimous decision. Edenden defeated PFL MMA veteran Genah Fabian via technical knockout in the third round at Hex Fight Series 30 to score her first and only knockout victory as a professional.

In her promotional debut under the Invicta Fighting Championships banner on the preliminary card of Invicta FC 57, she defeated Abigail Montes via unanimous decision. The victory earned Edenden the fourth decision win of her professional career along with her first victory under the Invicta Fighting Championships banner. She also secured her fifth win inside the professional ranks in the process. Edenden’s Aussie spice will freeze opponents in a ridged place when the music starts and stops in combat’s deadly dance of the two step!
