Foote has spent his whole Amateur career in the United Kingdom and has finished four out of his six wins overall during his time in the Amateur MMA ranks. Then at Goliath Fight Series 4, he tapped out Stephen McBride in round one. Foote defeated Ellis Pilkington at Budo Fighting Championships 62 via unanimous decision to score his second decision win as an Amateur. He submitted Jasim Beg in the fourth round via ninja choke at Budo Fighting Championships 65.
At Budo Fighting Championships 69, Foote tapped out Osman Vacoev in round one. The victory earned Foote the fourth submission win of his Amateur career. He also secured his sixth victory inside the Amateur ranks in the process.
