UFC Fight Night: Dern v Ribas 2 – Three Prospects to Watch

The first UFC Fight Night card of 2025 heads to the UFC Apex headlined by a Strawweight affair between Mackenzie Dern and Amanda Ribas on January 11. Here are three stars to watch out for at this event.

Fatima Kline

An alumnus of Cage Fury Fighting Championships and Invicta Fighting Championships, Fatima Kline makes her second appearance under the UFC banner on the back of a 6-1 record with three finishes under her belt in seven professional appearances. She has a myriad of tools at her disposal with all of her finishes coming inside the distance two knockouts and one submission respectively. Kline’s most recent win was a unanimous decision victory over Andressa Romero in the main event of CFFC 129 in February 2024. In Russia’s Victoria Dudakova, will be facing an opponent who has finished six of her foes en route to eight overall victories. Dudkova’s last win under the UFC banner was a unanimous decision victory over Jinh Yu Frey at UFC 294 in October 2023.

Bruno Lopes

A recent addition to the UFC roster thanks to the eighth season of Dana White’s Tuesday Night Contender Series, Bruno Lopes rides into his UFC debut with a 13-1 record and 11 overall finishes to the tune of six knockouts and five submissions. He is also a Legacy Fighting Alliance veteran. Lopes secured his UFC ticket with a second-round TKO victory over Mikheil Sazhiniani in the opening episode of DWTNCS season eight in August 2024. In Magomed Gadzhiyasulov, he will face an undefeated opponent who has finished six out of his nine wins overall and is coming off a majority decision win over Brendson Ribero at UFC On ABC 6 in June 2024.

Andreas Gustafsson

With an 11-2 record and 10 finishes to show for it, Andreas Gustafsson goes into his debut with the UFC having earned the majority of his victories via TKO in addition to two submissions. He gained his UFC entry with a second-round win over Canada’s Pat Pytlik in the main event of DWTNCS week two of season eight. In Preston Parsons, he will face off against an opponent who has finished the bulk of his foes via submission. Parson’s last victory in the UFC was a unanimous decision win over Matthew Semelsberger in January 2024.
