The Paddy Pimblett vs. Michael Chandler fight is now the hot topic after Pimblett delivered a dominant victory at UFC 314. Before the brutal loss, many had placed their bets on Chandler as the favorite.

One of those who bet against Paddy Pimblett was former UFC champion Conor McGregor. Now, the situation is getting even more intriguing as Pimblett called out McGregor. Meanwhile, McGregor’s ally, Dillon Danis, is also joining in on the fun by responding to an old post of Chandler.

Dillon Danis Settles a Seven-Year Grudge Chandler’s Loss

It took almost seven years, but someone close to Conor McGregor finally got a chance to clap back at Michael Chandler. Chandler, the former Bellator champion, recently suffered another knockout loss, this time to Paddy Pimblett at UFC 314.

As Pimblett dominated Chandler, Conor McGregor’s close ally, Dillon Danis, wasted no time celebrating the win. Danis quickly took to social media to mock Chandler, bringing up a 2018 tweet where Chandler had insulted him.

In that old tweet, Chandler had said, “Just catching up to #bellator198 @dillondanis said he was the “highest paid fighter in @BellatorMMA” but I think he meant to say “most unathletic fighter in Bellator” and that was against a man with a losing record. #cringe #slow #sloth #bellator198.”

After Chandler’s tough defeat, Danis retweeted the old post with a sarcastic comment. He wrote, “This aged well.” It was the perfect moment for Danis to settle the score.

Paddy Pimblett Calls Out Conor McGregor

The drama didn’t stop there—Conor McGregor lost a massive $500,000 bet, backing Chandler to win by knockout. McGregor, the Irish superstar, had faith in his former rival, but Pimblett easily took Chandler apart. After the fight, Pimblett didn’t waste any time. He called out McGregor, daring him to a future fight at either Wembley or Croke Park.

The rivalry between them is heating up, and UFC 314 showed that the action isn’t just in the ring. The aftermath of the event might lead to even more exciting matchups in the future. But for now, fans are having a blast following the drama on social media.
