In his professional MMA debut at Maverick MMA 20 Split Rock Resort, he submitted Shaquan Moore via rear-naked choke in the third round. Carr also tapped out Shawn Stefanelli in round two via rear-naked choke at Maverick MMA 21. Then at Maverick MMA 25, he submitted Nathaniel Grubman via armbar in the first round.
In his promotional debut under the Cage Fury Fighting Championships banner on the main card of CFFC 147, Carr choked out Tommy Lappily in round one via brabo choke. The win scored Carr the fourth submission victory of his professional career alongside his first win and finish under the Cage Fury Fighting Championships banner. He also secured his fourth overall victory as a professional mixed martial artist in the process.
