Luke Rockhold the former middleweight champion hasn’t fought inside the Octagon since losing the middleweight crown via a devastating knockout loss to Michael Bisping at UFC 199.
The AKA fighter is now booked to make his return against former 2 weight WSOF champion David Branch, the fight takes place at UFC Fight Night 116 as the headlining fight on Sept. 16 at PPG Paints Arena in Pittsburgh
The card will be competing with Canelo Alvarez and Gennady Golovkin. Also on the Fight night card so far, Lombard vs. Anthony Smith at middleweight; Kamaru Usman vs. Sergio Moraes at welterweight; Krzysztof Jotko vs. Uriah Hall at middleweight; Gilbert Burns vs. Jason Saggo at lightweight; Anthony Hamilton vs. Daniel Spitz at heavyweight and Justin Ledet vs. Dmitriy Sosnovskiy at heavyweight.
