In the MMA world, danger is a necessary part of success. In today’s episode of Across The Pond, you will meet a clawing cougar whose finishing hunger have the strawweights of the UFC perched at the rocky edge of the danger zone as she prowls for her second UFC win at UFC On ESPN Plus 41 on November 14. A professional mixed martial artist since August 2017 and representing Charlie’s Combat Club, Miranda Granger owns a 7-1 record in eight professional bouts comprised of five submissions, one knockout, and one decision. Granger fought for Cage Fury Fighting Championships prior to making her UFC debut at UFC On ESPN 5 in August 2019 and has finished six of her seven victories thus far in her career as a pro-MMA fighter and has only made it on to the scorecards once in her tenure as a professional mixed martial artist so far.

In her MMA debut, she submitted Niki Lowe in the first round via armbar. Granger also tapped out Ivana Coleman via rear-naked choke in round one. She defeated Jamie Thorton via TKO in round two to pick up her only knockout win as a pro so far. Granger submitted Amy Montenegro in the first round. She tapped out DWTNCS alumni Jamie Colleen via armbar in round one at CFFC 71. At CFFC 75, Granger submitted Brazil’s Heloisa Azevedo in the first round to earn her fifth submission victory as a professional and back to back wins with Cage Fury Fighting Championships.

For her debut outing with the UFC at UFC On ESPN 5, she defeated Hannah Goldy via unanimous decision. The victory earned Granger the first decision win of her professional career along with her first victory in the UFC. At UFC On ESPN Plus 41 on November 14, she will face off against Ashley Yoder in a clash at strawweight. Good luck Miranda!
