Cage Warriors is excited to announce the signing of French fighters David Bear and Jean N’Doye to exclusive deals with the promotion.

These new signings will join fellow Frenchman, and current Cage Warriors featherweight champion, Morgan Charriere, as well as lightweight star Mehdi Ben Lakhdar, Nicolas Leblond and Yassine Belhadj on the Cage Warriors roster.

These signings come off the back of signing with French broadcaster M6 Group to show Cage Warriors on its AVOD platform, 6play.

With 6Play being one of the largest broadcasting platforms in France, this provides fighters a huge platform to showcase their skills, and cements Cage Warriors’ commitment to developing French MMA.

Speaking on the signings, Cage Warriors president Graham Boylan said: “This is a very exciting time in French MMA.

“With the legalisation of MMA in the country last year, there are so many talented fighters coming through, and of course, Cage Warriors is going to give these athletes a platform to perform on.

“We’ve got more signings in the lineup, and we are committed to developing the French MMA scene by bringing a show to France in the near future.

“I can’t wait to see what David Bear and Jean N’Doye can do, put it this way if I was in their weight class, I’d consider myself put on notice.

David Bear impressed at Cage Warriors 113 last year, putting on a clinical performance against English veteran, Nathan Jones, winning by decision.

“This is the place to be in Europe in order to go to the UFC. It’s an honour to fight for CW and to show what the BEAR is made of.”, said Bear. “This will be my 2nd fight for the promotion as I already won against Nathan Jones. France will be broadcasting CW on TV so it will give another dimension to my career”

“The” Bear has amassed a 9-1 record, with five submission victories.

N’Doye returns to Cage Warriors after eight years away, with four of his eight professional wins coming under the Cage Warriors banner.

The 8-2 bantamweight is clearly excited about re-signing, saying: “Signing again for Cage warriors means something big for me, I feel like coming back home where fighters are respected.

“I definitely need to try one more title run and I know I’ll find everything I need fighting for Cage warriors. Exposure, competition level, title run …Everything a fighter needs to feel the flame inside”

He will take on Corrin Eaton in his return bout on Saturday’s CW 122 main card.

More signings are yet to be announced.
