Two more fights have been added to the card for Cage Warriors‘ return to San Diego on October 17th.

Mark Climaco will take on Joseph Morales in a flyweight contest at CW 130, while Alan Benson and Justin Barry will meet in a middleweight bout.

Speaking on the two additions to CW 130, Cage Warriors president, Graham Boylan, said: “Joseph Morales put on a fantastic fight at CW 126 with Kevin Wirth and picked up a decision win. We know he wants to showcase his development and return to the UFC.

“Mark Climaco will be a tough test for Morales though, he’s 6-0 as a pro and you know he wants to extend that to 7-0 and add a UFC scalp to his record.

“Justin Barry will be making his pro debut with us so I’m looking forward to seeing what he can do when faced with a tough opponent in Alan Benson.”

Joseph Morales sounded upbeat on the announcement of his return to the cage, telling Cage Warriors: “I’m looking forward to putting on a show!”

“Bopo” holds a 10-2 record, with seven victories within the distance and had a three-fight stretch in the UFC that saw him compete against former UFC flyweight champion, Deiveson Figueiredo.

Mark Climaco will be looking to extend his record to 7-0 at CW 130, telling Cage Warriors: “I’m grateful for the opportunity and the challenge in front of me.

“Fighting in front of a crowd in my home state against a great opponent fires me up and I know it’ll bring out the best in me, which, in turn, will be a great showcase for Cage Warriors.

“The fans should expect a great mixed martial arts fight!”

In the middleweight division, Justin Barry will be making his pro debut, and sounds eager to compete: “I’ve been training MMA since I was 14, I have a lot of experience and I’m eager to get back in the cage and show everybody what I can do.

“I want to say thanks to my coaches and my teammates for helping me prepare and making me a better fighter.”

Alan Benson sounds equally eager to compete, saying: “I’m excited to turn the beast on!”
