A bout between UFC Lightweights Bobby Green and Nasrat Haqparast is scheduled for February 12th at UFC 271 in Houston, per Walter Salcido, and MMA Junkie.

Nasrat Haqparast was originally scheduled to face John Makdessi at UFC Fight Night 201; a withdrawal by Makdessi due to injury, however, resulted in both a change of opponent, and a change of card.

Bobby ‘King’ Green, fighting out of Inland Empire, California, holds a 9-7-1 UFC record that includes 1 ‘Performance of the Night’ and 3 ‘Fight of the Night’ bonuses. The 35-year-old American, who debuted for the promotion at UFC 156 in 2013, broke a two-fight skid with his most recent performance, defeating Al Iaquinta via TKO at UFC 268.

Making his UFC debut at UFC Fight Night 118 in 2017, Nasrat Haqparast has amassed a 5-3 UFC record. Fighting out of Hamburg, Germany, the 26-year-old most recently fought Dan Hooker at UFC 266 under remarkable circumstances. Following visa complications, Haqparast, travelling from Germany, landed in Las Vegas for UFC 266 less than 24 hours before weigh-ins; despite logistical challenge, Haqparast made weight, earning deserved respect throughout the MMA community.

An exciting contest in the highly competitive Lightweight division; not one to miss.
