The future of tomorrow has found their forever home and greener pastures thanks to the juggernaut that is Dana White’s Tuesday Night Contender Series. In today’s episode of Across The Pond, you will be introduced to a crimson hornet ready to make the opposition red in the face as the newest member of the middleweight division in the UFC. A professional mixed martial artist since September 2020 and representing Port City Combat Sports, SD Dumas owns an undefeated 7-0 record comprised of four knockouts, two submissions, and one decision. Dumas secured his contract from the UFC on week six during the sixth season of Dana White’s Tuesday Night Contender Series in 2022. He has finished six out of his seven victories during the course of his career as a professional MMA fighter. The majority of Dumas’s wins during his professional tenure have come inside of two rounds. He has only gone to the scorecards a single time during his pro career, sweeping them clean across the board in that instance.
In his MMA debut at Ikon Fighting Federation 1, he faced Clarence Brown and went on to submit him in the first round via rear-naked choke. Dumas also defeated Demarcus Kemp via TKO in round two at Gamebred Fighting Championship 1. Then at AKA Rite of Passage 17, he defeated Lance Thompson via TKO in the second round. Dumas knocked out Mario Mancillas in round one at AKA Rite of Passage 18. He knocked out Dewitt Dixon in the first round in the co-main event of Jorge Masvidal’s Ikon Fighting Championship 1. Dumas defeated Aaron Highbaugh via unanimous decision in the main event of Ikon Fighting Championship 2 to earn his first decision win as a professional.
In the c0-main event of Dana White’s Tuesday Night Contender Series week six of season six, he tapped out Matej Penaz in the first round. The victory earned Dumas the second submission win of his professional career. He also picked up a UFC contract and extended his undefeated streak to seven to begin his career in the process. Making a mistake against this finisher may cause opponents to have one foot dug deep into the gravestone!
