The international arm of the UFC has vastly expanded its reach throughout the six-season run of Dana White’s Tuesday Night Contender Series. In today’s episode of Across The Pond, you will be introduced to a barracuda of blasting barrages ready to take his cannonball power to the big-league pool as the organization’s latest European enforcer. A professional mixed martial artist since July 2019 and representing TFT MMA, Mick Parkin holds an undefeated 6-0 record comprised of five knockouts and one submission. Parkin earned his contract with the UFC on week five during the sixth season of Dana White’s Tuesday Night Contender Series in 2022. He has fought for various promotions over the course of his career as a professional MMA fighter including Rise and Conquer and Caged Steel. Parkin has finished all six of his victories during his time in the professional ranks with 100 percent of those wins coming inside the distance.

In his MMA debut at Almighty Fighting Championship 13, he faced Tomas Valcickas and went on to defeat him via technical knockout in round one. Parkin also defeated Jan Lysak via TKO in the first round at Caged Steel 25. Then at Olympus FC Revival, he knocked out Szymon Synkiewicz in round one. Parkin knocked out Ashley Pollard in the second round at Rise and Conquer 9. He defeated Faith Aktas via technical knockout in round two at Rise and Conquer 10 to earn his fifth knockout win as a professional.

In the main event of Dana White’s Tuesday Night Contender Series week five of season six, he submitted Eduardo Neves in the first round via rear-naked choke. The victory earned Parkin the first submission win of his professional career in addition to a UFC contract. He also extended his unbeaten streak to six to begin his pro career in the process. Parkin knows how to pop opponents like balloons if they become too inflated with confidence!
