There are rumours that the Khabib Nurmagomedov – Tony Ferguson fight is finally going ahead at UFC 209 in Las Vegas.
Nurmagomedov had recently announced he was in training for a fight at UFC 209 but had not mentioned an opponent however last night his father claimed on social media that his sons opponent was Tony Ferguson.
The fight is expected to be co main event for interim lightweight title with a headline fight being the rematch of Tyron Woodley and Stephen “Wonderboy” Thompson according to Bjpenn.com.
Nurmagomedov goes into this fight with a 24-0 record while Ferguson is 22-3 and is a fight that the fans have been calling for.
