Volcanic Rage featuring UFC fighter Dan Ige

Both seasons of Dana White’s Tuesday Contender Series have provided the UFC with prospects that are considered by many to be diamonds in the rough.

In today’s episode of Across The Pond, you will meet a featherweight volcano whose versatile set of skills can pose an explosive threat to the division.

A professional since June 2014 and representing Xtreme Couture, Dan Ige owns a 10-2 record in 12 career bouts as a professional comprised of four submissions, three knockouts and three decisions.

Ige appeared on week three of season one of Dana White’s Tuesday Night Contender Series in 2017.

In his MMA debut at Star Elite Cage Fighting, he submitted Spencer Higa in the third round via armbar.

Ige also tapped out Ian Millan via rear naked choke in round one at RFA 23.

He defeated his next two opponents via TKO in James Jones at Shogun Fights 14 and Craig Campbell at Legacy FC 57 respectively.

Then at Legacy FC 62, Ige submitted Diego Pichilingue via kimura in the second round.

In his lone outing with Cage Fury Fighting Championships at CFFC 64, he defeated Fernando Padilla via unanimous decision.

Ige also defeated Ronildo Augusto Braga via unanimous decision in his only appearance with Titan Fighting Championship at Titan FC 44.

At Dana White’s Tuesday Night Contender Series 3, he tapped out Luis Gomez via rear naked choke in the third round to pick up his fourth submission victory as a professional.

In his second outing with the UFC at UFC 225, Ige defeated fellow DWTNCS season one alumni Mike Santiago via TKO in round one.

For his third appearance with the UFC at UFC on Fox 31, he defeated Jordan Griffin via unanimous decision to earn back to back victories with the UFC.

Well versed in every area of Mixed Martial Arts and possessing an impressive 10-2 record to top it all off, Ige will look to blow the featherweight division wide open in 2019!
