Jose Aldo vs Marlon Vera booked Dec 19th

This looks to be an exciting fight added to an already stacked card. Aldo will look to get a win under his belt when he steps into the octagon to take on Vera at UFC Vegas 17. Aldo is on a 3-fight losing streak with his last victory coming against Renato Moicano in February of last year. Aldo is 2-3 in his last five.

‘Chito’ Vera will step up to Aldo coming off of a win against Sean O’ Malley in his last bout which took place in August. Jose Aldo will be Vera’s toughest opponent to date and if he makes quick work of the former champion, that is an impressive won on his record.

On the same fight card, Leon Edwards make his return to the octagon after over a year of not competing. He takes on a hot prospect in Khamzat Chimaev. Edwards will be looking to continue his 7-fight win streak and attempt to earn the shot at the title. Chimaev has impressed many fans recently and he goes in with a lot of steam behind in. No doubt Edwards will be Chimaev’s toughest opponent he has faced, but it is an incredible opportunity as Edwards in #3 in the rankings.

Stephen ‘Wonderboy’ Thompson will also make his return against Geoff Neal. Thompson last fought in November last year beating Vicente Luque via unanimous decision.

The card is stacked and looks to be a good night of fights.
