Dana White has a warning for Jake Paul

Jake Paul has been making a lot of noise since moving to 2-0 as a professional boxers, granted his wins have come against a youtuber and a former basketball player.

Paul and his brother Logan have been at the forefront of the YouTube invasion of boxing, TV executives claim the youtubers will bring new eyes to the sport. In older brother Logan’s case he has fought fellow YouTube personality KSI twice, once as a an amateur and once as a pro, drawing the first and losing the second but he has now carved out an exhibition fight against Floyd Mayweather.

Jake Paul has called out Conor McGregor, and had a back and forth with several MMA fighters such as Nate Diaz, Ben Askren and Michael Bisping. One man who has no time for the Paul brothers is UFC supremo Dana White.

“The answer to that question is who gives a sh*t? Neither one of these guys can fight,” White told the Shout! Podcast when asked about the YouTubers. “It’s all a big gimmick. Like I said at a press conference, there’s a market for that. If people are dumb enough to spend their money watching that sh*t, I don’t know what to tell you. Good luck to them.

“I could not care less what that guy [says]. I get it. He’s trying to make some money and doing his thing and there’s people out there who want to spend their money on that. I’m not that guy.”

White had suggested, somewhat tongue in cheek, several weeks back that Jake Paul should fight Amanda Nunes, widely regarded as the female MMA GOAT. White feels Nunes would cause Paul some damage if they were to fight.

“Amanda Nunes will knock that kid out,” White said. “To even think about that guy fighting, he’s like ‘I’m never going to fight a woman.’ You shouldn’t, because she’ll put you in a coma. The guy is just some kid off the street.”

White, like Nate Diaz, warns Jake Paul to watch what he says about MMA fighters, as the pandemic won’t be here to protect them forever.

“One of the big problems with him right now, he’s lucky there’s a pandemic,” White said, “He’s talking smack about real people. Real people that he could run into at a restaurant some night and things like that. This isn’t a real guy. This is just some kid on YouTube.”
