For those who missed it earlier this week, the younger Diaz took to Twitter to voice his opinion on certain fighters he feels kiss UFC bosses asses….though he had a slightly different way of saying it.
It doesn’t take a genius to realise that Nate was referring to one half of tonights UFC Fight Night headliner, Donald Cerrone. The two met back in 2011 at UFC 141 in a Fight Of The Night performance that saw Nates arm raised in a decision.
Cerrone has yet to respond to Nates tweet but UFC President Dana White has responded during The Download, UFC.coms weekly interview with White. Here’s what he had to say:
“Nate can do whatever he wants to do. Nate can sit out and not suck any UFC whatever, for as long as he wants to. Who cares, he’s a grown man,” White said. “Sit out for as long as you want, sit out the rest of your career, it’s your decision. But to start making fun of guys who actually like to fight, and guys who go out there and put on unbelievable fights and people love to see him? (Cerrone) steps up and does what he does. People love Cowboy Cerrone. Nate wants to talk about making money, but there’s only one way to make money, and that’s fighting.”
