“I’m excited to be bringing such a huge BAMMA fight card back to the 3Arena in Dublin. It’s the place where we get the loudest fans and some of the best atmosphere that we’ve had in the promotion’s history. With our new broadcast partners Dave available in Ireland, fans from all over the country will be able to experience the event LIVE at home if they can’t get to the arena. But it’s going to be an event that you will want to be in the building for, to be able to say ‘I was there’ “ – David Green BAMMA CEO
Former BAMMA Lightweight Champion takes on the man who would be king in the first main card bout to be announced for BAMMA 30, as Rob ‘C4’ Sinclair returns to face Team Ryano’s Paul ‘Redser’ Redmond. Having never lost when fighting in BAMMA, Sinclair will be aiming to keep the streak going and potentially move towards reclaiming the belt he never lost. Paul ‘Redser’ Redmond dives straight back in after a narrow defeat at the hands of ‘Stormin’ Norman Parke at BAMMA 28 in Belfast, a fight that a lot of people thought he won. After signing a new contract with the promotion he will now be looking to get a win and get straight back in the hunt for the BAMMA World Lightweight title, Redser will have the hometown support as he prepares to face the undefeated BAMMA legend Rob ‘C4’ Sinclair and declare his right to the throne.
“The Story isn’t over, I have unfinished business in BAMMA and I have one objective; to put myself back at the top in BAMMA, back where I belong and that starts with Paul Redmond” – Rob ‘C4’ Sinclair
“Can’t wait to get back in there after my last performance, especially with the atmosphere that will be in the 3 Arena, it’s going to be great” – Paul ‘Redser’ Redmond
Phillip ‘Honeybadger’ Mulpeter Vs. ‘Magic’ Myles Price will see two of Dublin’s most popular fighters collide in what could have serious ramifications on the Lightweight title picture going forward. Mulpeter is now back to 100% and raring to stamp his particular brand of Honeybadger MMA on BAMMA, while Price is now making a serious run for the title picture after losing out on a Lonsdale title shot in Belfast due to injury in February. It’s going to be a crowd favourite fight on the night and one that you won’t want to miss.
“Honeybadger is back!!! BAMMA 30 July 7th at the 3 Arena. Buckle up your seat belt Dorothy, cos Kansas is going bye bye.” – Philip ‘Honeybadger’ Mulpeter
“I’m embracing the challenge and looking forward to bringing the win back to Team Ryano and Kilkenny, but make no mistake – I respect Phil, but I will run through him come July 7th. My fight IQ is superior and my body will be peaked and ready come fight night.” – ‘Magic’ Myles Price
Additional Info
Rob ‘C4’ Sinclair (13-4) has long been a firm fan favourite at BAMMA. The Predators MMA stand out briefly retired at the end of last year, but Sinclair has decided that he’s not done yet and is planning to prove it on July 7th, in Dublin. The heavy handed, power puncher has previously seen off challengers such as Andre Winner, Diego Vital and current Bellator Featherweight Daniel Weichel. @RobC4Sinclair
Paul ‘Redser’ Redmond (11-7) The Team Ryano standout has recently resigned a multi-fight deal with the promotion and is now set to face Sinclair in his hometown of Dublin. The BJJ ace proved at BAMMA 28 vs. Norman Parkes, than his game has evolved into so much more than just a submission artist. Being a win away from getting back into the title hunt, he aims to make short work of Sinclair come fight night on July 7th. @RedserMMA
Philip ‘Honeybadger’ Mulpeter (7-5) is looking to make his BAMMA debut after circumstances prevented him from appearing at BAMMAs 22 & 24. The SBG fighter has long been known to the Irish MMA scene and his relentless approach makes him a favourite with the fans and ensures he’s never in a dull fight. @HoneybadgerMMA
‘Magic’ Myles Price (9-6) The Team Ryano ground wizard has been chomping at the bit to capitalise on his victory against Mario ‘Rudeboy’ Saaed at BAMMA 24, and make the next step to getting back into the Lonsdale title hunt after missing out at BAMMA 28. Working with the likes of Neil Seery and Paul Redmond, Price will not accept anything less than a win in Dublin and only the ‘Honeybadger’ stands in his way. @MagicMylesMMA
