Welterweight fighters Danny Roberts & Bobby Nash are the most recent additions to the fight card at UFC Glasgow, with four fights already being announced.
Roberts lost his unbeaten record when he was knocked out by recent ‘KO of the Night’ winner Mike Perry and was adamant that his form would return in the Octagon at the SSE Hydro.
Speaking to the Daily Mirror Roberts said, “There were few things from the fight which I took away and worked on. Anyone who knows me knows what I’m like, I’m 110 per cent and I walk forwards with a lot of heart and will always put pressure on myself to get that win.
“You either win or you learn. I’ve had some learning to do building up to my fight and then it’ll be time to shine.”
The Scouse fighter also believes he’ll be popular with the much lauded Glasgow fight night crowd, “He added: “I’ve got a big contingency of fans from Scotland, a lot travelled down to watch me in Manchester last time and a few have even travelled over to Las Vegas to watch me.”
Danny currently holds a 13-2 record and Bobby an 8-2 record. With both being KO’d in their last fight, many fight fans will be keen to see a finish within the distance.
