MMAUK caught up with Blaine for a Q and A interview.

MMAUK: You recently defeated Harry Hardwick at BAMMA 30 in your home town Dublin. Did the fight go as you expected?

BO'D: Yes exactly as expected I knew it wouldn’t go longer than 2 rounds, I push a very high pace and am always looking to finish, people just can’t keep up with it.

MMAUK: How did it feel winning in front of your home crowd for one of the bigger promotions?

BO'D: The atmosphere and crowd make you feel unstoppable in the 3 Arena. The energy and feeling I get from them is unreal.

MMAUK: Hardwick was a late replacement did that hamper your preparations?

BO'D: No, I focus on my game and implementing my game on them putting them on the defensive, I don’t think much on what they’re going to try do.

MMAUK: You are on a 4 fight win streak what's next in line for you?

BO'D: Hoping to get at least one more good win this year and then I think I am in line for that title fight.

MMAUK: You seem to have a good ground game do you feel more comfortable on the ground?

BO'D: I feel comfortable everywhere, I have finishes on ground and on the feet, I don’t care where the fight goes.

MMAUK: You train at SBG Ireland under John Kavanagh, how is it training under John and with some top level guys at SBG?

BO'D: It’s unbelievable I feel blessed getting to train with John and everybody at SBG everyday and for living so close to the gym. I am surround by success, hard workers and the best martial artists all day long. It’s hard not to get motivated and improve everyday.

MMAUK: What do you hope to achieve within the sport?

BO'D: I Hope to become a World Champion and fight in Las Vegas some-day. I imagine everyday walking out in MGM that’s a big dream of mine.
