Conor McGregor’s next fight will be MMA

Rumours have been swarming the internet about what Conor will do next. Everything from a move to WWE, a boxing matchup with virtually anyone, mainly Manny Pacquiao…

Finally, Conor is giving some insight on what his plans are. We’ve heard from Conor McGregor himself via TMZ his intentions are to fight “a real fight”, an MMA fight. Check out what McGregor has to say in the video attached below.

This is what fight fans have been waiting for and has been brought to light. Conor McGregor has announced his next fight will be a mixed martial arts bout. There is a few fights Conor has already mentioned on numerous occasions he is interested in which are great, because he can have a great fight with any of them and it will sell. Before his boxing match with Floyd Mayweather, McGregor stated he wanted to fight Khabib Nurmagomedov. Not only did McGregor want Nurmagomedov, as per Dana White, he asked to have that fight in Russia. The only person standing in the way of that would naturally be Tony Ferguson who won the Light Heavyweight interim title against Kevin Lee  and also has been the topic of McGregor’s next fight.

If you know Conor McGregor, he is willing to fight anyone the UFC has put in front of him and has called out a multitude of other fighters. Rumors swirled once again of a super fight with newly crowned UFC Middleweight Champion Georges St Pierre, who recently vacated his belt, so that fight would most likely take place at Welterweight if and when it does happen.

Conor has also spoke about his interest in a trilogy fight with Nate Diaz, who is more than ready to accept that challenge as he has been wanting to avenge that loss. That is probably going to be one of the best trilogy fights MMA has ever seen. They had some of the most entertaining press events in MMA.

It’s not often we see a fighter that can seamlessly transition from one combat sport to another, none the less make a successful move to Hollywood. Conor McGregor has that and much more, even people who don’t watch UFC know who Conor is, and that is something special.
