Interview with Arnold Allen conducted Ryan Cambridge of MMA UK.

What got you into MMA and what is your first ever MMA memory?

AA: I always liked martial arts from a kid watching dragon ball z and Bruce Lee movies, the first memory in MMA was training with Mark Nixon in Felixstowe.

Being a local boy from Felixstowe, how was it training at Tristar with the likes of Georges Saint Pierre? And are you planning on having your future training camps over at Tristar?

AAIt’s great working with the top-level guys at Tristar! And I have no plans to visit any other camps, I’m really happy with my team at Tristar.

After your excellent win over Makwan Amirkhani do you have an opponent in mind? And do you see yourself on the London card in March?

AA: I’ve got no one in mind, but it’s always nice to fight at home.

Where do you see yourself in 5 years time?

AA: In my own sweet house with some shiny belts hopefully.

I hope you get your wish. Thank you for taking the time to answer my question. Do you have anything you’d like to add?

AA: Nothing to add cheers though mate!

Its clear Arnold is not lacking in confidence and with good reason. Being the superior fighter in his 3 UFC fights will have that effect. Arnold will no doubt be eager to make his fourth appearance in the UFC this coming March at UFC Fight Night 127 in London, Arnold’s phone will no doubt be ringing any day now with another opponent for Arnold to dominate leaving his fans well and truly pleased!
