Europe’s leading MMA promotion go back to their roots with a highly anticipated return to the Cork Neptune Stadium.

It’s time for a resurgence in Irish MMA.

In a shock announcement, Cage Warriors President Graham Boylan has confirmed that his promotion is returning to Ireland with big plans, and are set to play an integral role in developing the sport once again.

“Our mission hasn’t changed,” says Boylan. “We’re coming back to offer the top talent in Ireland a chance to shine and showcase their skills to the world.

“Wherever you are in Ireland, wherever you train, you can find a home at Cage Warriors. We’re open to working with everyone and want the guys that are hungry. If you’re willing to give everything, we provide the platform to get you to the top.”

It’s a return 2 years in the making, with Cage Warriors’ last Irish appearance in March 2017 seeing the headliner and former champion Karl Moore victorious at the 3Arena in Dublin.

Since then, Cage Warriors have showcased their high-octane, world-class MMA experience across Mainland Europe and Scandinavia, and will now bring it back to the place which saw so many unforgettable scenes during the sport’s rise in Ireland.

Past Irish Cage Warriors alumni who have risen through the ranks to UFC stardom include 2-weight Champion Conor McGregor, Joe Duffy, Neil Seery and Paul Redmond. Fellow Irishmen Chris Fields and Cathal Pendred also went to compete on the Ultimate Fighter after winning Cage Warriors belts.

To help increase the number of top quality MMA events in the country, Cage Warriors plan to return with a number of shows across Ireland over the coming years, beginning on November 9th.

Ticket and card details will be confirmed very soon.
