As per Dana White, Jon Jones is not going to be in the heavyweight title picture this summer.

Jones, who vacated the heavyweight title last year, has been working hard to come up to the heavyweight division. Jones was waiting to fight the winner of Stipe Miocic and Francis Ngannou.

After Ngannou’s victory over Miocic in UFC 260, the much-anticipated fight of 2021 was expected to be taken place this summer.

Jones had only one condition, as he wanted more money to fight the current heavyweight champion. He even tweeted “Show me the money” following Ngannou’s victory.

But White wasn’t convinced with Jones as he went on to say that “I don’t know if he wants to fight.’’ Dana White claimed that jones wants 30 million to fight Ngannou. But this was later denied by Jones.

The back and forth between those two have finally led to a rematch between Ngannou and Lewis.

Dana White confirmed to TSN on Monday that they are working on a rematch between Ngannou and Derrick Lewis for later this summer.

“We’re working on that fight,” White said. “That fight is going to happen this summer.”

Ngannou and Lewis previously fought at UFC 226, which turned to be one of the worst fights in UFC history. Dana White also stated that Jones vs Miocic is also a possible fight that could happen in the summer.
