Yannick Goitom 1-0-0 is a Swiss amateur Mixed Martial Artist. An amateur competitor since 2021, representing Team Kaobon. He has competed for Almighty Fighting Championship and is scheduled to compete for Preston based organisation UKFC.

I’d like to start this off by thanking you for taking the time to speak to me today Yannick and I’d also like to congratulate you on your recent fight announcement with UKFC.

I hope training camp has been going well in the build-up to your scheduled bout on March 12th?

At UKFC18 you take on Knuckleheads MMA’s Diogo Ramos, after hearing the news regarding your opponent, have you done anything in the way of research on Diogo?

“No research about the kid, I just know he’s getting smoked.”

As you take your next step on the amateur circuit you will no doubt be looking to end the night with your arm raised and walk out of the Riva Showbar with the W on your record. Without giving too much away what steps have you been taking to make sure you walk out with another Digit on the win column?

“Same as always training hard.”

Being part of a well-oiled machine such as Team Kaobon must be such a confidence booster going into March. With the likes of Darren Till, Tom Aspinall, Anthony O’Connor just to name a few of the phenomenal warriors that you get to grace the mats with. What does being part of Team Kaobon mean to you?

“Yeah, I’m very proud to represent the best team in the world.”

Other than your inclusion on the night are there any matchups in particular that you’re looking forward to witnessing in Preston?

“My teammates that will be fighting that night.”

Last but not least do you have a message for the fans that will be in attendance and anybody you’d like to shout out to?

“To the fans, don’t blink and shout out to Muney Munye.”

Yannick is leaving a lot to the imagination for his upcoming war at UKFC18, which makes the 12th of March that little bit more interesting in regards to what we will see from the young amateur. Make sure to get your tickets as they are selling fast.
