Fighting fit candidates wanted for new dating show

Combat sports athletes are being urged to apply for a new TV show where successful entrants will be filmed having a dinner date.

‘Fighters Go Dating’, produced by MMA TV, wants to hear from Boxers, Kickboxers, Wrestlers and Mixed Martial Artists who fancy a rendezvous with a singleton at a restaurant in Brighton. Filming will take place in August and the deadline for entries is Friday 22nd July.

To apply, entrants should email astar@mmatv.com with their contact details, profile picture, video and a brief introduction to themselves and their romantic history.

MMA TV founder Siju Roseje commented: “We’re aiming to make a programme that shows fighters in a different light, more as human beings with a sensitive side rather than focusing solely on their exploits in the cage. We’re going to match the athletes with members of the public who’ve applied to date a combat sports fighter, so hopefully we can create quite a few compatible couples.”

More than 100 million people have been streaming world class fights across MMA TV’s pay per view, subscription and social channels since the beginning of 2022. Viewers in 100 million homes can now access MMA TV from their televisions, as well as their smart phones and tablets, thanks to recent deals with the likes of Rakuten, Samsung TV and Huawei.
