Conor McGregor has appeared in court in New York.

McGregor handed himself into the NYPD after a warrant was issued for his arrest after McGregor and several acquaintances stormed the UFC media day with video footage appearing to show McGregor throw several objects at a bus, with at least two fighters on the bus since having received hospital treatment for injuries.

McGregor has been released on bail after bail was set at $50,000, his passport has not been surrendered and he is free to leave the US. He is due to return for court hearing on June 14th. His team mate Cian Cowley had his bail set at $25,000.

It seems his team mate Dillon Danis has paid bail for both McGregor and Cowley.

The judge has issued an order protection in favour of Michael Chiesa, Ozzy Arias, Ray Borg, Ricardo Chico on Cian Cowley. With the same issued minus Ozzy Arias plus Jason Leadbitter on Conor McGregor. Both McGregor and Cowley must not contact any of the above or face rearrest.

McGregor had been cooperating with police and was said to be shadow boxing.
