Ultimate Fighting Championship officials announced two new bouts for UFC 192 via the Houston Chronicle. A pivotal flyweight clash between Joseph Benavidez and Ali Bagautinov, plus a women’s strawweight fight pitting Rose Namajunas against Angela Hill.

Texas native Benavidez is 7-2 since making the drop to flyweight in 2012, his only losses coming in title fights against champion Demetrious Johnson. The 31-year-old Team Alpha Male product is currently on a three-fight winning streak, most recently a decision over John Moraga at UFC 187 in May.

Namajunas and Hill were teammates on Gilbert Melendez’s squad during the 20th season of “The Ultimate Fighter.” Hill was eliminated by eventual TUF champion Carla Esparza in the opening round, while Namajunas made it to the season-ending title bout against Esparza.

UFC 192 takes place Oct. 3 at Houston’s Toyota Center, headlined by a light heavyweight title clash between new champ Daniel Cormier in his first defence against challenger Alexander Gustafsson.
