For any mixed martial artist, learning to deal with adversity is just as important as learning to deal with how to be a gracious winner in a crash course on the professional lifestyle. In today’s episode of Across The Pond, you will meet a bear of beautiful bloodbaths ready to create a carnage canvas as the newest member of the UFC roster thanks to Dana White’s Tuesday Night Contender Series. A professional mixed martial artist since November 2019 and representing Red Hawk Academy, Tommy McMillen holds an undefeated 9-0 record consisting of five submissions, three knockouts and one decision. McMillen scored his UFC contract on week four during Dana White’s Tuesday Night Contender Series season nine in 2025 and has finished eight out of his nine overall wins during his career as a professional MMA fighter. He has spent his entire career in the United States. All of McMillen’s finishes over the course of his professional journey have come in a single round. He has gone to the scorecards once during his career in the professional ranks.

In his professional MMA debut at Fusion Fight League Rising Stars 2, he submitted Benjamin Hollier via rear-naked choke in round one. McMillen also defeated Elijah Jamerson via technical knockout in the first round. He defeated Kerry Latimer via TKO in round one at Fusion Fight League. McMillen knocked out Arthur Dufloo in the first round to score his third knockout win as a professional. He submitted Dustin Winter in round one at Fusion Fight League Seasons Beatings. McMillen tapped out Josh Wright in the first round at Fusion Fight League Great Falls. He submitted Genier Penagos in round one. McMillen tapped out Dumar Roa at RUF MMA 62 in the first round via rear-naked choke to notch his fifth submission victory as a professional.

In the opening bout of DWTNCS week four of season nine, he defeated David Mgoyan via a majority decision to secure the first decision win of his professional career in addition to a UFC contract. He also earned his ninth consecutive victory overall as a professional mixed martial artist in the process. McMillen’s Montana roar is enough to frighten even the big fish out of their serene surroundings!
