When it comes to being the best in Women’s MMA, there is no greater stage then Invicta Fighting Championships to do it on. In today’s episode of Across The Pond, you will be introduced to a banger of the bayou looking to bring the fireworks and boundless excitement and energy to go along with her high-level ground attack at Invicta FC 39 on February 7 from Memorial Hall in Kansas City Kansas live on UFC Fight Pass in the promotion’s first show of 2020. A professional since May 2018 and representing Brent Mason’s Elite Combat Academy, Victoria Leonardo owns s 6-1 record in seven professional bouts comprised of four submissions and two decisions. Leonardo has competed with Invicta Fighting Championships, Bellator MMA and Legacy Fighting Alliance. Out of the six wins she has earned thus far in her professional career Leonardo has gone on to finish four of them.

In her MMA debut at LFA 40, she faced Hailey Cowan and submitted her via rear-naked choke in the first round. Leonardo also defeated Salina Rowland via unanimous decision at LFA 46 to secure back to back victories with Legacy Fighting Alliance. Then at Gulf Coast MMA Brawlroom Beatdown 2, she submitted Monica Medina in the second round via rear-naked choke. Leonardo also tapped out Jamie Milanowski via rear-naked choke in round one at Invicta FC 34. In her one and only appearance with Bellator MMA at Bellator 218 she faced Sweden’s  Malin Hermansson and went on to submit her via armbar in the first round to pick up her fourth submission win as a professional.

At Invicta FC 36 Leonardo faced Stephanie Geltmacher and defeated her via unanimous decision. The win also earned Leonardo the second decision victory of her professional career. At Invicta FC 39 on February 7, she will take on Erin Blanchfield in an encounter at flyweight. Good luck Victoria!
