Live Results from United Combat Championship in Dundee

This Saturday will see Dundee host the first United Combat Championship’s event in the company’s history. A joint venture set up by Former K1 European Middleweight Champion Marc Navarro and Gracie Barra Fife’s Darren Clarke. The event will include Professional and amateur bouts across 3 disciplines, Mixed martial arts, K1 Kickboxing and Boxing. The owner’s described the event at the time of announcing as “The biggest fight night in the city’s history.” The card features 17 bouts, with the main event being a rematch between Navarro himself and Mikael ‘Mad Mike’ Brilling following their infamous ‘bloodbath’ encounter. Dundee’s own MMA professional Kevin Lobban takes on Jason Woods in the co-main event, Lobban looking to avenge a loss in his first professional bout at ACB 47 Glasgow. MMA UK will be at the event posting live results, pictures and live recordings at UCC’s maiden event, with a stacked card and solid crowd, could this be the start of something special for combat sports in Tayside?

Tickets are available at Dundee Ice Arena, priced at £25 for general admission or directly through any of the fighters on the card. The cost at the door on the night will be £35, so get moving to save yourself paying a premium.
