The People’s Elbow almost made its way to the UFC, Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson one of WWE’s biggest ever superstars says that he almost took a more violent career path 10 years ago!
If he had his way he would of been training at Albuquerque, New Mexico, under the tuition of MMA’s top coach, Greg Jackson, however he “smartened up” due to wanting his “jaw intact”.

He has also said “There was a time there where I thought, ‘Man, I achieved everything I wanted to achieve in WWE, my movie career is floundering a little bit, what do I do?'” Johnson said. “I was relatively still young; I think I was 34. I thought, ‘Oh, well maybe UFC. Maybe I should do something like that.'”
I think we can all agree that 10years ago The Rock would of give McGregor a run for his money on the self promotion front but avoid the MMA Route seemed a wise choice as he is. It on top of the Forbes list of highest paid actors in 2016.
