Former UFC Champ Jon Jones faces Current UFC champion Daniel Cormier this weekend at UFC 214. Whilst doing some promo for the fight on Facebook Live, Jones was asked if he would fight WWE superstar and former UFC heavyweight champ Brock Lesnar! Jones, responded with the following:
“I would love to fight Brock Lesnar, He’s a massive dude. I mean, it would be a massive draw. Really big for the sport. It’d be a great challenge. That’s a big ol’ boy. I doubt Brock Lesnar would take that fight, though.”
As it turns out Brock Lesnar is also down for the fight saying:
“Would I fight Jon Jones? Anytime, anywhere,” Lesnar said, per Greg Beacham of the Associated Press. “Right now he should be worried about D.C. on Saturday night.”
Now although the weight difference would be upwards of 50lbs, this would surely be one of if not the biggest fight in UFC history
Lesnar would apparently be on board for a potential fight, even though UFC would have to figure out how to solve the weight difference of at least 50 pounds.
