Across the Pond Profile: Tucker Lutz

A successful showing on Dana White’s Tuesday Night Contender Series may not always lead to a pot of golden riches at the end of the rainbow. In today’s episode of Across The Pond, you will meet a ravenous raven ready to feast and fly following a successful outing during the show’s fourth season. A professional mixed martial artist  since October 2015 and representing Ground Control, Tucker Lutz owns a 10-1 record in 11 professional bouts comprised of six knockouts, two submissions, and two decisions. Lutz appeared on week five during season four of Dana White’s Tuesday Night Contender Series in 2020 and has finished eight of his 10 victories in his time thus far as a professional mixed martial artist. He has also fought for Shogun Fights, a regional MMA promotion based in his home state of Maryland. He has managed to make it on to the scorecards twice during his pro career. The majority of Lutz’s wins as a pro-MMA fighter have come inside the distance over three rounds with four first-round finishes.

At Shogun Fights 14, he submitted Irving Nicholas in the first round. Lutz defeated his next five opponents that included wins over Timothy Wade and Johnathan Vinyard. Then, he defeated Wesley Golden via TKO in the second round. At Shogun Fights 21 Lutz knocked out Cole Presley in the first round. For his final appearance with Shogun Fights at Shogun Fights 23 he defeated Trevor Thompson via TKO in round two to pick up his sixth knockout win as a professional.

At Dana White’s Tuesday Night Contender Series week five of season four, Lutz defeated Chase Gipson via unanimous decision. The victory earned Lutz the second decision win of his professional career, Coming in at 10-1 with an 80 percent finish rate, this raven is sending every foe he meets to a prison filled with eternal darkness!
